Being artistic by nature, Chris Bisson, of Voidshift Creations, found his passion in cosplaying around 8 years ago. He’s strongly inspired by his family: being taught many hands on skills that were transferable to cosplay by his father, and many years of mom-made Halloween costumes. This helped him realize later in life that dressing up can still be fun and he that could make his own awesome costumes and props. Having passionate/talented friends (and an especially talented partner), has elevated his little garage workshop operation to working with fantastic artists, photographers and cosplayers.
His cosplay characters tend to be inspired by his interest in video games, where he loves to bring characters like Ezio Auditore (Assassin’s Creed), Master Chief (Halo), Zer0(Borderlands), a warlock Stormcaller (Destiny) and Genji (Overwatch) to life.
This once resident of South Pourcupine, is excited to again return to Timmins to be a part of the wonderfully northern Ontario convention!

Writer/Artist of The Circle; CW Fan Talk; New York Yankees Magazine; NECA/WizKids, Artist, Writer, Creator, Fan.
Brian was born and raised in New Jersey. He holds a Bachelors of Fine Art from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with a concentration in Computers. An interest in art developed as soon as he figured out that crayons served a better purpose being put to paper than put in his mouth. Inspired by cartoons and movies early on, he was never without his trusty drawing pad and had his first installation art exhibit when he placed his Star Wars action figures in the years later, art and the creative process are still his biggest passion. For over 13 years he served as the Creative Director for NECA/WizKids HeroClix. His work has been seen on packaging in the toy industry, Yankees Magazine, Nocking Point Wines and CW Fan Talk, among others. He is in the process of painting the art for his illustrated novel, The Circle, which was funded through Kickstarter.
He can be found online at www.odysseyart.net, on Twitter @OdysseyArtTorch, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/odysseyart and on Deviant Art at odysseyart.deviantart.com.

Founded in 2007 by Tom Hutchens, Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club (MMCC) has quickly grown to be one of the largest global Star Wars™ fan organizations. Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club is a registered 501(c)(4) non-profit within the USA, with several chapters in countries around the world.
Mandalorian Mercs is a truly unique organization as it encourages membership applicants to focus on adding their personal and distincitive creative individualiy as opposed to limiting them based soely on visual accuracies from the Star Wars™ films, books, comics, video games, and other media. The MMCC is an inclusive and friendly club, following the Mandalorian way of “Clans” or family units and a clans’ ability to adopt anyone who wishes to be a Mandalorian.
The Mandalorian Mercs, in true homage to the characters they portray, have changed and adapted over the years to support the growing amounts of people interested in Mandalorian costuming. In 2011 Mandalorian Mercs was recognized by LucasFilm LTD. as the “Elite Mandalorian Costuming Organization.” In 2014 Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club became a registered 501(c)(4) non-profit, and expanded the mission of its charity fund “Little Warrior International” to continue bringing hope to underprivileged children and families in need around the world.
The Mandalorian Mercs Costuming Club set the standards of Mandalorian costuming based on canon movie references (Boba and Jango Fett) as well as canonical comic-book references, book references, television shows and computer games. Our Costume Requirement Lists (CRLs) allow us to be more customized with our costumes, however, there is a minimum standard that must be reached; every Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club member is encouraged to strive for improvement.
Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members, staff, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
The Northern Ontario Expo is very proud to welcome our new friends to our event, please make sure to follow them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/mandalorianmercs or visit their official website at www.mandalorianmercs.org
